Open IT 2.0 workshop "New job: expectations vs reality."

On December 12, Kharkiv IT Cluster organised a workshop on the topic “Employment”. The speaker of the workshop was Yulia Bader - the most effective IT-Recruiter of Ukraine -2015 according to DOU website. The key-points of the workshop were:

• how to find your own company;
• how to successfully pass an interview;
• how to behave in an interview with the employer;
•  how much time a job search should take;

The part about starting a career in IT and its development, as well as the speaker`s personal experience were especially interesting for the audience. She step by step, Julia revealed to the listeners the experience of her own career growth in IT and Recruitment. Within the workshop Julia also conducted a small survey “Your perfect company”. During the survey each participant had found answers to his questions and realised what a job of his dreams has to be. The participants with a professional background shared their experiences and observations with the the audience and had possibility to evaluate their career path from a point of view of an employer. At the end, Julia shared some useful weblinks for job-seekers and  raffled the certificate from our partners Ukrainian IT School. The event’s partner was a member of Kharkiv IT Cluster - AN.WORKS company, a specialised platform for IT employers and entry-level applicants with smart functionality.
