Turkish Airlines: Travel Safely

Summer is here, which means the vacation and travel season has already begun. Despite the weakening of quarantine in Ukraine, it is necessary to remember and comply with security rules — this will protect you and people around you. For the safety of all the guests and crew, the Turkish Airlines company is committed to applying high standards of hygiene measures constantly. Hygiene Expert cabin crews will be appointed on flights, in charge of lavatory disinfection and enforcement of all on-board hygiene and social distancing measures. The guests’ health is secure with the latest technology measures — HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters. The aircraft uses a special filtration system that can remove 99.97 % of all particles whose diameter is up to 0.3 microns in the air. Passengers will be provided with a «Hygiene Kit» consisting of a mask, an antiseptic tissue, and a hand sanitizer. The kits in short-haul flights include a mask and an antiseptic tissue.
